Jesse Tree Ornament Exchange | November 15 | 7-9 PM
The Dolan BASE group is hosting a Jesse Tree Ornament Exchange and we would love for you to participate. The idea of a Jesse Tree comes come Isaiah 11:1-2. Each ornament of the Jesse Tree represents a story about someone in Jesus’s family tree, from creation to the birth of Jesus. Together these symbols show how God prepared for Jesus to be born for many generations.
We are looking for at least 20-25 women who are willing to commit to making (or purchasing) 25 of the same ornament. There are lots of ideas for creating your own themed ornament (check out Pinterest). The ornament can be as simple or elaborate as you'd like them to be. Once you sign up, we will assign the theme of your ornament. Please sign up by November 3rd and bring all 25 ornaments to the party already prepared.
You will leave the party with a set of 25 different ornaments, all representing a part of the genealogy of Jesus. These ornaments can be part of your family's advent devotions beginning December 1st. Jesse Tree advent devotional books will be available for a discounted rate at the party.
