Interested in Baptism?

Baptism is commanded and described in various passages throughout Scripture including Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 2:37-41, Romans 6:1-11, and Colossians 2:11-15. Baptism is a public declaration of one’s profession of faith in Jesus Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is an outward symbol of an inward transformation. Further, baptism is one of the two ordinances of the church (the Lord’s Supper being the other).

At NewBranch we require all those interested in baptism to meet with an elder in order to share their testimony of coming to faith in Christ, to ensure they have an accurate understanding of the gospel, and to discuss the meaning of baptism.
