Spring Men’s Retreat | March 7th and 8th
We will be partnering with North Avenue Church (Athens) and Lakewood Church (Gainesville) for a Spring Men's Retreat on March 7th and 8th. The cost is $50 and includes dinner Friday night and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Guest speaker is Dr. Richard Phillips (Senior Minister of Second Presbyterian Church, Greenville, SC and author of many books including "The Masculine Mandate").
Men's Winter/Spring Bible Study | Wednesdays, 6:30-8pm
The men of the church studied 1st Timothy in the Fall, and in the Winter/Spring of 2025 we will follow-up that study with 2nd Timothy and Titus.
There are two options for this Bible study:
Men’s Bible Study - Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm (beginning January 8th) at the church. Open to all men, no sign-up required.
Men’s D-Groups - If you are part of a Base Group, ask your leader about a D-Group. D-Groups are aimed at discipleship and accountability. They will follow the same schedule as the Men’s Bible Study, but will be more informal and relational.
Both formats will be following the "7 Arrows of Bible Reading" method. Just read the assigned passage for the week (see study plan below), answer the “7 Questions”, and come prepared for a discussion. This is not primarily a teaching Bible study, but rather a discussion based on our individual study of the passage.
